Call To Action Images by DesignWizard

Businesses have been including calls to action in their advertising copy for many decades. Phrases like “Get your copy today!” or “Reserve your spot now!” have been inciting potential customers to act since marketing became an industry. Blogs are no different, and CTAs are often included in their copy. But did you know you can make call to action images?

Master This Modern Marketing Trick Once and For All

Call-to-action images are less frequent, but they are exceptionally powerful marketing tools. Making your blog CTA a photo or image instead of straight text makes it more visibly noticeable, and thus more likely to be clicked.

With Design Wizard and HubSpot, you can track these images, carry out A/B tests and create smart Call To Action images dependent the stage of the buyer journey your blog reader is at.

By strategically creating your call to action images, you can increase your click through rate and convert more people for your business!

Below we’ll share the more important things to consider when creating your blog CTA image.

  1. Always Deliver

A potential customer always clicks on your call to action with an expectation. Where does that expectation come from? You set it up, of course! Your call to action should make a commitment to the reader, letting them know what will happen when they click. For example, if your goal is to convince your blog reader to click to shop your online store, you are making a commitment that the link will bring them directly to that location where they can shop. If your call to action says, “Click to Download the App”, your client expects that the download will work and it will happen efficiently. Whatever your call to action image says, you want to make sure you can deliver on it. Be sure to think carefully before inserting text into your blog CTA image.

  1. Choose Your Specs

Much like in every other aspect of marketing, when it comes to CTA images, consistency is one of the most important components of success. Hence, deciding what your image will look like and what size it will be is imperative. One simple way to do this is to use an online graphic design software and choose a pre-made template that you like. This allows you to skip the task of creating image from scratch, which can be daunting and more time consuming. By selecting an image from a template library, you can simply customize the parts that you want to change while keeping the basic design of the image. Then, moving forward, any time you write a blog you can return to your saved template and edit it, repurposing your call to action image for your current needs.

  1. Create FOMO

FOMO, or “fear of missing out”, is one of the most common and principal reasons why people act online. The thought that if they do not take the next step now, that step may disappear and not be available to them, is difficult to ignore. By creating a sense of urgency, you let your customers know that the best time to reap the benefits of your offer is now. And after all, persuading your potential customer to avoid waiting is key to moving users further along your buying cycle. Call to action images are an excellent way to generate FOMO.

Bonus Tip: When creating your CTA images, make sure your goal stands out by using white space. The less competing and contrasting colors there are in your image, the more striking your CTA will be to the human eye. Thus, more customers will be drawn to your FOMO-inducing offer!
