Sam Glasberg

Director, People Operations at Stitch

As a young child, Sam would frequently be found working the crowd, so everything truly came full circle when she fell into the world of people operations years later. Sam is responsible for all things people at Stitch. In her role - Sam is focused on making sure that they are growing with the right people, building processes that allow people to be the best version of themselves, and ensuring her team members are happy and engaged every single day. Sam believes that HR norms are meant to be challenged, that people can thrive in an environment with fewer formal controls (read: rules), and that when given the opportunity to DTRT (do the right thing) most people will.
Sam previously headed up People Operations at RJMetrics, from 2014 until Magento acquired the business in July of 2016. Prior to her start-up life, she spent 5 years recruiting for the creative and marketing industry. A Philadelphia native, Sam lives in the suburbs of Philadelphia with her husband and in her spare time enjoys gardening, a good drink, and staying fit.
Meet Sam on June 14, 2017, for the Philadelphia HubSpot User Group meet-up taking place at Evil Genius Beer Company in Fishtown. Sam will dazzle the audience with her networking expertise gained as a recruiter, presenting on, "You're Networking Wrong".
